Yarramalong Springtime Festival Sunday 16th September
The Festival has been running since 2008 and is staged on behalf of the Communities of the Yarramalong Valley by the Yarramalong Valley Community Inc.
The Festival is designed to bring the Community together and introduce the magnificent hinterland of the NSW Central Coast to the general public, while at the same time, providing the various community groups within the Valley the opportunity to raise funds for their cause.
Everybody is welcome to come and join in the fun of the various events, whether it be entering a Scarecrow in the competition or simply enjoying a pleasant drive through the Valley to view the fantastic Scarecrows entered by others.
Saturday 1 September sees the start of the Festivals Scarecrow Competition. Running until Sunday 16th September, this event has proved to be very popular over the years, with visitors coming from far and wide to view many imaginative, clever and amusing Scarecrows throughout the Yarramalong Valley.
Spring Bake Competition Sunday 16th September
The gloves are off & the oven mitts are on for the annual Yarramalong Springtime festival “Spring Bake” competition. The spring bake will be held for the forth year in historic Wyong Creek Hall on Sunday 16th September 2018.
Entry is only open to AMATEUR cooks of any age including for Under 13 and Under 18.
Learn the secrets of award winning baking from open judging process, where audience will be able to hear the reasons for selecting the winning entries. All entries are welcome to watch the judging.
The Yarramalong Springtime Festival will offer half of all the exhibits for sale to the public, with proceeds of the sale being donated to Wyong Creek Hall Restoration fund.
